Job Requirements:
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principlesConsult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plansPrepare and administer (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and record prescribed medicationsEducate patients on surgical proceduresRecord patient's medical information and vital signsMonitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displaysInitiate corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatologyProvide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patientsInitiate patient education plan, as prescribed by physicianChange dressings, insert catheters, start IVsPrepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patientRespond to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocolParticipate in discharge planningUtilize time management skillsRecord all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate formsAs of April 24, 2022 all travelers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19Do not submit local candidates to these travel positions.
