As a member of the Martins Family, the Sales Specialist coordinates ordering, storage, and delivery of food service sales orders to be a supplier of choice.
Contiguously build relationships with potential business partners to support and grow the food service model.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.

Collaborates timely and accurately the set-up of product, promotions and price increases by collecting information.

Enters and prepares sales data in various electronic systems, such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Order Entry System and databases.

Takes domestic and international customer orders and institutional business orders for product and processes purchase orders and invoicing of customers.

Tracks product flow from origin to final delivery.

Coordinates sampling for customers and distributo rs and follows up to document progress in the sales funnel.

Documents sets for international distributors that assist in the ease of exporting.

Maintains professional business relationship with existing and potential customers.

Assists in planning, coordinating and attending of trade shows.

Acts as point of contact for customer service related questions.

Performs data entry.

Maintains all documentation, such as updating pricing sheets, labels, maps, certificates of presale, etc.

Organizes Direct Store Delivery (DSD) setup, correspondence, and coordination of orders and reconciling of inventory.

Education and/or
Experience:

High School Diploma or GED;
Associate s Degree from two-year College or technical school in Business Administration or related field; or
Bachelors Degree from four-year College or university in Business Administration or related field;
Six months to one year sales experience preferred (related Intern experience accepted in leiu of on the job experience).
Computer Skills:

K nowledge of Outlook.

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience with Oracle applications (i.
e.
Oracle Purchasing).

Experience with SharePoint.
