Responsibilities:
- Working Tuesdays, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
(10am-3pm) -WEEKENDS BEING MANDATORY SUNDAYS ARE THE BUSIEST OF THE WEEK AND WHERE YOU WILL GET MOST HOURS.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to hotel standards - Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines - Inspect and identify any damaged or stained items and report them to the supervisor - Ensure proper handling and storage of clean linens and towels - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area - Assist with inventory management by keeping track of supplies and notifying the supervisor when reordering is necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred - Knowledge of different fabrics and their appropriate care methods - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail to ensure high-quality results - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload - Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors Note:
This position requires physical stamina as it involves constant standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy loads, and working with cleaning chemicals.
