95 an hour Requirements (Education, Experience, Certification, Knowledge, Skill):
Pre-K - 4th Instructional 1 or 2 PA Teaching Certificate Position
Responsibilities:
Plan and maintain, working with the Assistant Teacher, a developmentally appropriate, safe, and healthy classroom environment for the age group of children to which they are assigned in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards.
Maintain interaction with children throughout the day.
Complete classroom reports, required forms, and documentation within mandated timelines.
Maintain and update children's records.
Notify supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents relating to children, parents, or staff.
Attend all mandated trainings and meetings.
Conduct Home Visits and Parent Conferences as required.
Develop an understanding of local, state, federal, and agency policies.
Maintain mandated staff/child ratios at all times.
