The Nursing Home Administrator position is responsible for the overall management, leadership, growth, and fiscal responsibility of the facility in accordance with federal, state and local standards as well as company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operations of the nursing home facility - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements - Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality care for residents - Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Monitor and assess the quality of care provided to residents - Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate resident care plans - Handle resident complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner - Manage the facility's budget and financial resources - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and facility operations
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - Current active and unencumbered Nursing Home Administrators (NHA) license in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania - Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or long-term care facility - Knowledge of medication administration protocols and regulations - Familiarity with social work principles and practices in a healthcare setting - Understanding of home care services and their integration into nursing home operations - Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting eoe Job Type:
