Responsible for maintaining an office environment that positively and professionally represents the agency and its program goals and principles.
Works collaboratively with the Head Start Director to assure clerical, project implementation, filing and other duties are carried out.
Responsible for the entering, updating, researching, verifying and/or retrieving data into/from the database.
Essential Job
Responsibilities:
Maintain Office Environment and Data Base Information Represent FSP by ensuring communication and interactions with incoming phone calls, office visitors, and staff are professional and positive.
Ensure the office space and other general use areas are safe, tidy and well-maintained.
Provide assistance to families in completing the enrollment application process online or over the phone for accurate completion.
Input child, family, and staff information into the program and state identified data management systems.
These systems may include, but are not limited to:
ASQ online, Childplus, and PELICAN.
Assist Health Coordinator in entering any child and family health information in to the ChildPlus data base, as needed.
Complete ordering of classroom and office materials in a timely manner and monitor CP for incoming orders.
Be knowledgeable of and consistently demonstrate understanding of the program's policies & procedures.
Community Networking Coordinate with local agencies, community service organizations, and educational providers and partners.
Provide information on the First Start Partnerships for Children and Families program to the community.
Be a representative of First Start Partnerships for Children and Families' vision and mission while working in the communities.
Be a representative of NAEYC's code of ethical conduct.
Communication & Professional Development Participate in staff meetings, center activities, staff development and in-service as scheduled.
Demonstrate integrity, professionalism and confidentiality on a daily basis.
Maintain professional development requirements and credentials required for the position.

Minimum Requirements High School Diploma Three years administrative experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient typing and computer skills (including Microsoft Office:
Word and Excel) Valid driver's license/proof of auto insurance/required.
Bilingual preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to build positive, professional relationships with diverse populations.
