All Technicians, Service Maintenance, Product Support Coordinator Purpose:
Oversees service operations within the dealership to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
Grows profitable service labor sales and exercises disciplined expense control.
Attracts, retains, and effectively engages department personnel.
Responsibilities:
Schedules and assigns jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge Assists in the appraisal of repair orders coming into the Service Department and may participate in repairs.
May review repair orders for accuracy and completeness Directs and assists in the diagnosis of machine problems of technicians and apprentices Communicates progress/status of current repair jobs with customers Reviews work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing Assists with the development and training of service personnel and may complete performance reviews of service staff Communicates, enforces and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction Monitors service sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales and profit goals Participates in the development and execution of the Corporate Service Marketing Plan Ensures all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order Manages recruiting, staffing, and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position May assist the Product Support Manager in developing processes and procedures Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

years experience in Service Department operations Must display outstanding customer service skills Must be able to work at a fast pace Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups Familiar with John Deere and competitive products Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports High School Diploma or equivalent experience Job Type:
