PLANNER AND ESTIMATOR (ELECTRICAL)

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element):
Ability to do the work of a PLANNER AND ESTIMATOR (ELECTRICAL) without more than normal supervision. I am skilled in providing labor estimates for electrical processes and testing of electrical/electronic components; retrieving parts and material costs from supply systems; using Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to obtain master data relating to Bills of Materials (BOM), route changes, work center updates, production orders, etc.; and interpreting instructions, technical manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics, specifications, complex blueprints, and drawings in hard copy or AutoCAD formats. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal SupervisionAbility To Use and Maintain Hand Tools (Electrical Work)Ability To Use Electrical DrawingsKnowledge of Electrical EquipmentTechnical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)Theory and Instruments (Electrical Electronic) Used in Shop and Trade PracticesTrouble shooting (electrical) Requires employee to sit for extended periods of time. Normal safety precautions required. Work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
