PLANNER AND ESTIMATOR (METAL FABRICATION)

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element):
Ability to do the work of an PLANNER AND ESTIMATOR (METAL FABRICATION) without more than normal supervision that includes assisting on advising on techniques and procedures on machinery, sheet metal work, welding, surface coating and painting; determining man-hours, costs, tooling, materials, and machines to use to accomplish work; and interpreting complex instructions, drawings, sketches, blueprints, and technical manuals - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Requires standing and walking through shop area and occasionally throughout maintenance building. May occasionally carry raw stock or parts weighing up to 10 pounds. Requires extended periods of sitting at a computer terminal. Works in a well lighted, temperature controlled office but is required to regularly visit the shop area with concrete floors, grinding dust, dirt, heat, noise, fumes, burns, cuts, bruises, injuries to hands from tools and materials, skin irritations from coolant, lubricants and abrasive compounds. Wears safety glasses, safety shoes, and other safety apparel and equipment as required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
