Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element):
Ability to do the work of an ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT REPAIRER without more than normal supervision. Ability to perform common Electrical Equipment Repairer duties to include dismantling, analyzing, and reassembling a variety of wiring harnesses, and formulating harnesses against blueprints and diagrams, working under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To Do The Work Of The position Without More Than Normal Supervision Physical Effort:
There is frequent lifting and carrying parts and harnesses, which may weigh up to 20 pounds. There are prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending. Working Conditions:
Works in well lighted and heated areas. Subject to cuts while fabricating harnesses and electrical shock or burns while soldering, attaching connectors and performing tests. There is a possibility of falls while working from step ladders.
